In 1997, I established KCL Building Services Inc. and has developed into an established service company with a reputation of providing honest, ethical, high quality workman ship and service to all our clients.
In 1993, my wife and I decided to relocate from the lower mainland to the Fraser Valley to raise our family in a small community. Getting tired of the commute, I started my own restoration company.
During my years in Vancouver, I was employed as a project manager for a large restoration company and acquired an extensive background in fire, water, windstorm and insurance related claims. During those years, the knowledge that I gained in taking apart damaged areas and putting them back together or reconstructing them, has proved invaluable in helping me be able to solve many on-going building issues.
Prior to insurance related work, I worked on various construction and framing crews.
Early in the company’s existence, we had the opportunity to work for strata management companies through insurance losses I started to get requests to do non-insurance work. Gradually, my business developed from insurance related work to strata related work.
We enjoyed working for the strata councils and managers, and chose to provide services exclusively to strata corporations. Our business has now developed in that we provide complete building services to the strata corporations.
Because our priority is strata corporations, we have chosen to not provide residential services.
